30 ads per month in Facebook with a different advertisement each day? Sergio Gonzalez, CEO of 3Sixty Strategies, discussed
this feature at the BHGLAAR Commercial Marketing Session on July 15, 2014. Sergio’s presentation of “Social Media
in Commercial Real Estate” was informative and inspiring.
Mr. Gonzalez enlightened the attendees
with an array of ideas of how to use social media to grow their commercial businesses. “Upload videos of your listings
to YouTube,” he reminded. “Because Google is the most popular search engine, and it owns YouTube, you can get
great exposure and attention.”
“In Twitter, make sure you’re using hash tags. And,
don’t forget the importance of Google Alerts to receive immediate current information on commercial real estate events
and data that is critical to your business.”
What tops the list of challenges facing landlords
in California? James Engel, Golden Estate Management, posed this question at the Commercial Marketing Session. The answer:
government regulation. James helped the attendees learn effectively how to steer through the myriad of rules and laws that
lessors must understand to be successful.
As part of his presentation, James also provided valuable information
about how to obtain details, statistics and data on commercial properties of interest to commercial agents and their clients.
Among the sources discussed were the Housing Authority of Los Angeles, the L.A. Department of Building and Safety, the L.A.
Housing Department, and ZIMAS for the City of Los Angeles.
