The BHGLAAR Commercial Real Estate Committee’s 2013 Agenda was ambitious, and offered extensive resources for REALTORS® to grow their businesses. The schedule was launched with the very popular monthly Commercial Marketing Sessions, during which attendees are treated to a networking breakfast and then listen to exciting industry topics from guest speakers. Commercial properties are presented by listing brokers, and everyone has an opportunity to discuss their client needs.

Important commercial real estate training opportunities were also provided in 2013. A 3-part educational series was offered the 2^nd Wednesday of each month, April thru June. And, a half-day commercial training program was offered in May, as an introduction to apartment building sales for residential agents.

September brought the BHGLAAR Business Roundtable conference and expo, the most extensive commercial real estate event produced by the Commercial Committee. The half-day event included a networking breakfast and expo, guest speakers, breakout sessions, seminars and a commercial professional panel. One lucky attendee won the drawing for a Kindle Fire HD, and the event concluded with a catered networking luncheon.

The BHGLAAR Commercial Expert Panel was presented in October, and it was the largest expert panel ever produced by the Commercial Committee. Six panelists from each of the commercial real estate asset disciplines informed and entertained the attendees in this fast-paced event.
